To hunt the area, they should start the challenge without knives, fire starters, and pots and bring a new solution from scratch.

Naked and Afraid Castaways was filmed in the middle of the South Pacific ocean on a tropical island. The nine veterans are stranded in three different ecosystems.
The show has been shot in three distinct remote locations in the pacific ocean at the Bermuda Triangle edge. If the survivalist doesn’t adapt to the isolated area, they won’t survive long.

They got dumped on a deserted island where civilization is miles away. In teams of three, the survivalist swam in different locations on the same island.
Each team will begin on a different part of the bug-infested island, but by day 21, will have to reach its northernmost point, where international shipping lanes present their only chance of signaling a boat for rescue.
South Shore 8 Degree North Of The Equator
Coming from the south, the team of Andrew, Heather, and Patrick will be the first to shore, where fierce saltwater crocodiles lie in wait.
Sticking up through 20 square miles of the pacific ocean, the island’s dense jungles creep with venomous coral snakes and pit vipers.
Extreme heat and humidity breed swarms of blood-sucking mosquitos, chitras, and sandflies, and a deadly coastline of shallow coral reefs prevents boats from landing on shore.
Eight Miles To The North
Eight miles to the north, the team of Bulent, Kerra, and Na’im are next to enter the challenge, where deadly sea snakes patrol the volcanic rock shoreline.
They have to deal with sharks, sandflies, and millennials.
Six Miles To The West
Approaching the island’s opposite coast, the final team, Candice, Rachel, and Justin, appear six miles to the west, where vicious bull sharks grow to be over ten feet long and speckled caiman hunt in the murky mangrove swamps.
Weighing up to 160 pounds, with razor-sharp tusks, territorial wild boars scour the island for food and fresh water.
Without maps, they swim to twisted mangrove swamps, sun-scorched beaches, and dense jungles.
On their journey ahead, they find an abandoned military jeep, a shipwreck, and a crashed airplane. From this scratch, the challengers discover a new solution to develop the tools.
Including location, everything will be harder, as the challengers have to survive with their navigational skills without a tool or weapon.
In the previous season, at least the challenger had a map. The former challenges shoot in Zambia, South Africa, and Argentina.

A counter-intelligence special agent Kerra has served in the Military for eight years. In her survival test, she lasted 21 days in Zambia.
In a prior challenge in Zambia, the Naked and Afraid challenge Candice Mishler faced 20 baboons and much terrifying wildlife and tapped out eventually.
Meanwhile, Justin felt him as a warrior, as him being a Marine Crop and Jiu-jitsu trainer and teacher.

Naked and Afraid Castaways comes on at 8pm EST on Discovery, Discovery Plus and Max. The seasonpremiered on Sunday, July 30, 2023.
On July 23, the first episode, Lord of the Sand Flies, dropped on the Discovery channel.
In episode one, nine veterans are stranded on a bug-infested island without any maps or tools. One team discovered plane wreckage that could prove very useful for bushcraft tools.

The second episode, The Barehanded Killer Is Back, will air on August 6, 2023, where Andrew and Heather conflict when they try to make fire.
