John Mulaney became the subject of intense media attention in late 2020, when reports emerged that he’d voluntarily checked into rehab following a protracted battle with alcohol and drug addiction.
Mulaney’s personal life remained in the headlines months after he’d left rehab, owing to a series of events that started with him divorcing his wife of six years, Anna Marie Tendler, and ended with him welcoming his first child with actress Olivia Munn.
“I packed a lot into this [year],” the comedian shared during an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers. “I went to rehab in September, I got out in October, I moved out of my home from my ex-wife. I am sure this news about the pregnancy will be very difficult for her.”
Reeling from the abrupt end of her marriage, Tendler also checked herself into rehab, albeit not for the same reasons as Mulaney.

With her marriage rapidly unraveling, and Mulaney having packed out of their shared home, Anna Marie Tendler made a rather drastic change in her life.
